I like to do volunteering work whenever I have a chance; it's a great way to get to know the people and places around me.
Here I accompanied the local school children to the town Council "pet adoption center": a place where stray cats and dogs are taken while they await for a new owner:
This is the island recycling center, as we are just 5.000 people here, their only task is to classify the rubbish in those green containers and send them to the nearby island for further processing:
In this little greenhouse the forest guards grow local plants and trees for any residents who may want to plant them in their land:
